The team Gold Leaf Award went to the Indigenous Leadership Initiative for their work supporting the creation of protected areas that reflect indigenous law and culture and help to sustain fresh water, local wildlife populations, and a stable climate.

The individual Gold Leaf Award went to Louise Gratton for her 35 years working in ecology and conservation.
