Elles permettront notamment d\u2019assurer l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 des aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es \u00e0 la population et la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019activit\u00e9s r\u00e9cr\u00e9atives s\u00e9curitaires. \u00c0 cet effet, des partenariats avec les milieux r\u00e9gionaux et les communaut\u00e9s autochtones pourront \u00eatre conclus.<\/p>\n<p>Citation\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab D\u00e8s 1992, \u00e0 titre d\u2019\u00c9tat f\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9, le Qu\u00e9bec s\u2019est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 li\u00e9, par d\u00e9cret, aux principes et aux objectifs de la Convention sur la diversit\u00e9 biologique des Nations Unies. Vingt-cinq ans apr\u00e8s, il continue d\u2019int\u00e9grer des pr\u00e9occupations relatives \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9 dans toutes les grandes politiques qui veillent \u00e0 son d\u00e9veloppement durable. En cette Journ\u00e9e internationale de la biodiversit\u00e9, je suis fi\u00e8re de souligner les efforts soutenus du gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec en faveur de la protection de la biodiversit\u00e9 et d\u2019avoir annonc\u00e9 la somme de\u00a040,9 M$ afin d\u2019atteindre les objectifs gouvernementaux d\u2019aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es et assurer leur p\u00e9rennit\u00e9. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Isabelle Melan\u00e7on, ministre du D\u00e9veloppement durable, de l\u2019Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques<\/p>\n<p>Faits saillants\u00a0:Le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec s\u2019est engag\u00e9 \u00e0 atteindre, d\u2019ici 2020, 17 % d\u2019aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es en zones terrestres et d\u2019eaux int\u00e9rieures, dont 20 % sur le territoire du Plan Nord, et 10 % en zones marines et c\u00f4ti\u00e8res.<br \/>\nActuellement, le Qu\u00e9bec compte quelque 4 760 sites naturels qui r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 la d\u00e9finition d\u2019une aire prot\u00e9g\u00e9e. Au 31 mars 2018, le Qu\u00e9bec comptait 156 709 km2 d\u2019aires prot\u00e9g\u00e9es, ce qui repr\u00e9sente 9,40 % de sa superficie et environ 325 fois la superficie de l\u2019\u00eele de Montr\u00e9al. Le r\u00e9seau d\u2019aires marines prot\u00e9g\u00e9es, pour sa part, s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 1,35\u00a0% du milieu marin qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, soit 1 957 km2.<br \/>\nDepuis 2011, les d\u00e9marches d\u2019identification des territoires \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger, men\u00e9es par le MDDELCC et les acteurs r\u00e9gionaux, ont permis de recenser plus de 100 nouveaux projets d\u2019aires
