Dr. Brian Starzomski<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Dr. John Reynolds<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>are being awarded for their extraordinary work with the\u00a0<\/span>BC Parks Biodiversity Program<\/a>. This program involves \u201ca team of naturalists and researchers working to engage the public in community science to photograph and document the species in our provincial protected areas, and beyond. [They] promote broad engagement with people in the province to upload photos of plants, animals, and fungi to community science platforms such as iNaturalist, and each summer a field crew with \u201cthe best job in the world\u201d travels the province to record as much biodiversity data as possible while fostering relationships with Provincial Parks staff and volunteers that broaden the species knowledge of all involved\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
